britishangus.com was set up by Paul & Kirsty Westaway and their business partner Nick Kirby . Paul and Kirsty are farmers in beautiful Gloucestershire in the southern half of England. They have a herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle with the prefix 'Melview' and also finish Angus x Holstein Friesian heifers on a contract for Blade Farming.
Paul has a huge interest and background in all aspects of getting great Aberdeen Angus beef onto the plate. Paul started his working life as a butcher in Shaftesbury, Dorset; he then worked on several beef and dairy farms in England before working in the AI and breeding industry for over 15 years. Melview Farming now has two farms and is completely dedicated to producing great genetics and great beef.
Nick Kirby has over 30 years experience of importing, developing and exporting Global genetics, his passion is not only cattle breeding but also breeding high quality pedigree horses. Nick is known around the world and is passionate about spreading the message of British Aberdeen Angus worldwide.
